What to Expect During Your Edmonton Dental Procedure

Feeling Discomfort During Dental Procedure

During the procedure, a dental assistant and Dr. Xie will carefully monitor your reactions to the treatment. If you choose a conscious sedation, you are able to communicate with us. Local anaesthetic is provided to prevent discomfort and an ECG monitor is there to detect your heart rate.

Who’s In the Room With You

In the room with you during the procedure will be Dr. Xie and two of her assistants: a clinical assistant and an assistant to monitor your vital signs throughout treatment.

Important to Remember

Our staff is trained in CPR and Dr. Xie has extensive training from courses in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as well as heart and stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) for HCP.
