While Callingwood Dental Health Centre and Suites focuses on your oral health, we have the technology to detect other health issues like sleep apnea. We can test your oxygen saturation during sedation that may indicate whether or not you suffer from sleep apnea.
Dental Mouth Guards
Our office can then provide custom mouth guards to work in conjunction with your sleep apnea appliances and CPAP machines which are meant to help with airflow while you sleep. A mouth guard can help maintain adequate airway during your sedation procedures in addition to the benefits outside the office. By keeping airways open, the mouth guard allows for your sleep apnea appliance or CPAP machine to be more effective. A mouth guard can also prevent nighttime bruxism or grinding of your teeth.
Why We’re Different
Our dentists work with two medical professionals in the Callingwood Professional Centre in order to provide complete medical assessments and referrals for sleep apnea patients.
